I often think of the rays of the sun
The mystery of the external world
The darkness of the spacious nights
The connection between a horse and a carriage
The disguised form of a politician
The sarcastic attitude of the preacher
The silver-wiry hair and the wrinkled faces
The moist innocent eyes and fantasies
The fine line between conversations and arguments
The fine line between intruders and outsiders
The eclipse of the moon and the rise of the dogma
The religious scriptures and crusades
The pleasing pain and the agreeable healing
The sense, the nonsense and the common sense
The pale faces that walk by
The trees that embrace the sky
The who, the how and the why
And the dog who is on the run
For he once dated the neighbor’s cat
Huh,
He might have reasons
Or a desire to edit the diurnal course of nature.
When I proceed on his story
I relate to yours…
